KAZNA X TANK LFW POP-UP
For London Fashion Week, Kazna took a new approach to presenting by collaborating with TANK Magazine to host a two-day souk — a celebration of local businesses, charities, and community collectives.
The event featured panel talks, film screenings, and workshops, creating a space rooted in culture, creativity, and solidarity.
The pop-up was a huge success, with participating businesses donating a percentage of their sales to charity — raising a total of £3,474.24. Of this, £1,524.24 was donated to Medical Aid for Palestine (MAP), and £2,300 was distributed among Al Jawad Camp School in Gaza, Ghassan Abu Sitta Children’s Fund, and the Yemen Noor Foundation for Education and Relief.
A huge thank you to all the incredible businesses and collectives who made this possible — from Sudanese soap and Palestinian embroidery to upcycled bags, football jerseys, Yemeni silver, Egyptian motifs, and Persian rugs — each telling a story of heritage and resilience.
List of businesses: Among Good People, XEN, Huq That, Maqam Books, YENOF, Thames Carpets, Sazar, Kiro, Tatreez, TWANAL, 24Karak, Farah bakes, Wassima, Saboon Alee
LFW AW'25
Kazna Asker’s Autumn-Winter 2025 collection explores the dialogue between tradition and modernity, weaving Yemeni heritage with British streetwear. Its centrepiece is a cobalt-blue shepherdess figure, layered with Middle Eastern textiles and crowned by a reimagined straw hat created with milliner Lucy Barlow, echoing Yemen’s iconic Madhalla. Each piece becomes a bridge between landscapes, generations, and identities, linking Yafa’s mountains to Sheffield’s streets.
