The Yemen Crisis
According to the United Nations (UN), Yemen is currently facing the world’s largest humanitarian crisis. The latest statistics show that over 20.7 million Yemenis are in desperate need of life-saving assistance. With up to 19 million people facing food insecurity, over 4.2 million facing displacement and with more than 11 million children in need of one or more forms of humanitarian assistance.
Being the daughter of Yemeni immigrants, Kazna Asker has always promised to donate 10% of annual profits to support humanitarian aid in Yemen. However, during Ramadan, 100% of profits of the limited edition Ramadan collection will be donated to charity Saba Relief.
More about Saba Relief
Saba Relief & Development Foundation is a UK-registered charity that exclusively focuses on raising funds to support humanitarian aid in Yemen.
‘Saba Relief recognises that there is a shortage of media coverage highlighting the plight of Yemen and its people, which, in turn, has significantly impacted the ability to raise funds and gather support. Nevertheless, we have focused all our efforts on alleviating the suffering in Yemen, and this focus is one of our guiding principles.’
